Called and asked, i said, absolutely. I will be there with you. The real reason i said that, i didnt want him to go against because of that one, you can be. I wouldnt miss a chance to talk to my friends. These are my friends. We will see you again next year and the year after that. I will be doing this with cpac whenever i can and we will be here a lot. My first major speech, sit down, everybody come on. Say, heonest media will didnt get a standing ovation. You know why . Because everyone stood and nobody sat. My first major speech was that. Pac at cpac maybe five or six years ago and you were there. People and i love the commotion. They did these polls where i was going through the roof and i wasnt even running. I got concerned with what was happening in the country and i said lets go to. Walked onstage at cpac i will never forget it, really. And evenery few notes less preparation. When you have no notes and no preparation and you leave and everyone was thrilled, i said i like this business. I would of come last year but i thought at that time i would be too controversial. We wanted Border Security and a Strong Military and all of the things were going to get. Some people consider that controversial but you did it consider it controversial. I have been with cpac for a long time. All of these the years we have been together and now you finally have a president. It take you a long time. [applause] and it is patriots like you that made it happen. You did it because you love your country, because you want a Better Future for your children and you want to make America Great again. The media did not think we would win. Pundits didnt think we would win. The consultants that sucked up all that money, so they suck it they are not good at politics but they are really good at sucking up peoples money. Especially my opponents because i kept them down to a minimum. They all underestimated the power of the people and to the people proved to them totally wrong. True and this has what has been happening, never underestimate the people. I dont think it will ever happen again. And i want you all to know that we are fighting the fake news. Ake, phony, fake a few days ago i called up the fake news the enemy of the people and they are. They are the enemy of the people because they have no sources. They just make them up. I saw on story recently where they said nine people have confirmed there are no nine people. I dont believe there was one or two people. I said give me a break because i know the people. I know who they talk to. Someone reads it and they think nine people, they have nine sources. They make up sources. The media did not explain i called it the fake news the enemy of the people. They dropped off the word fake and all of a sudden the story became the media is in the enemy. Asy take the word fake out now i am saying no, this is no good. But that is how they are. I am not against the media, im not against of the press. I dont mind bad stories if i deserve them. I love good stories. [applause] i dont get too many of them. I am only against the Fake News Media or press. People that make up stories and to make up sources. They should not be allowed to use sources unless they use some of the name. Let their name be put out there. A source says that donald trump is a horrible human being. Let them say it to my face. There would be no more sources. And i had as article written by me in reuters by a talented man. There are good reporters who are talented and honest as the days long. Theyre great. But there are some terrible people who do a tremendous disservice to our country. They should not use sources. Likeill see stories dry up you never have seen it before. If you are not part of the story and i put myself in your position sometimes because many of you are not part of the story. If you are not part of the story, then you sort of know if you are part of the story, you know what they are saying is true or not. When they make it up and they make up Something Else and you saw that before the election, polls, polls, the polls, they come up with these polls and everyone was so surprised. A couple of polls got it right. Los Angeles Times did a great job. We had a couple of others that were great. Speaking i can play the network someone said a poll came out and they will say the network. And i will say what network . Lets not even say the name, all right. [applause] pres. Trump you have a lot of them. The Clinton News Network is one. [applause] take you look, honestly. We take a look at their polls over the next past three years. You would think they would fire the pollster after years and years of getting badder. Pulling orare bad maybe they are not legit. Look at cbs, look at abc, looking nbc, take a look at some of these polls. They are so bad and so inaccurate. It creates a false a narrative. It creates this narrative that is just like we are not going to win. But imay i like trump not feeling great today so i will not go vote. We have to fight it, folks. They are very smart, they are very cunning and they are very dishonest. To conclude it is a very sensitive topic and they get upset when they expose their false stories. They say we cant criticize their dishonest coverage because of the First Amendment. They always bring up the First Amendment. I love the First Amendment. Nobody likes it better than me. Who uses it more than i do . [laughter] [applause] pres. Trump but the First Amendment gives to all of us, to me, to you, to all americans the right to speak our minds freely. It gives you the right and to me the right to criticize the fake news and criticize it strongly. And many of these groups are part of the large Media Operations that have their own agenda and it is not your agenda and is not the countrys agenda. They have a professional obligation as members of the , but if you honest saw throughout the entire now, the fakeven news doesnt tell the truth. It doesnt tell the truth. Say it finishing i doesnt represent the people, it never will represent the people and were going to do something about it because we have to go out and we have to speak our minds and we have to be honest. Like atory was a win nobody has ever seen before. And i am here fighting for you and i will continue to fight for you. The victory and the win was something that was really dedicated to a country and people that believe in freedom, security and the rule of law. [applause] pres. Superdelegates, superdelegates. Not that i am a fan of bernie but a lot of bernie people voted for trump. He was right about trade. Our country is being devastated by that trade. I actually like burning. I like bernie i actually like bernie. I like burning. Im here to tell you what this Movement Means for the future of the Republican Party and the future of america. We need to define what this great, Unprecedented Movement is and what it represents. Core of our beliefs is that we are a nation that will put its own citizens first. [applause] usa. Usa. Usa. Pres. Trump for too long we have traded away our jobs to other countries. So terrible. We have defended other nations borders while leaving hours wide open. Anybody can come in. Build the wall. Pres. We have spent trillions of dollars overseas while allowing our own infrastructure to fall into disrepair and decay. In the middle east, we have spent, as of four weeks ago, 6 trillion. Boo. Pres. Trump by the way, the middle east is in much worse shape than it was 16 years ago. If our president s would have gone to the beach for 15 years, we would have been in much better shape than we are right now, that i can tell you. We couldve rebuilt our country three times with that money. This is a situation that i inherited. I inherited a mess, believe me. We also inherited a failed Health Care Law that threatens our medical with absolute and total catastrophe. I have been watching and nobody says it but obamacare does not work, folks. I could say, i could talk, it doesnt work. And now people are starting to develop to warm up. The people youre watching, they are not you. Many of them are the side that lost. They lost the election. Its like how many elections do we have to have, they lost the election. Ive always said obamacare doesnt work. The same people a year ago were complaining about obamacare and the bottom line, changing it, were going to make it much better. We are to make it less expensive. We going to make it much better. Obamacare covers very few people and remember, the dutch from the number all of the people that had great health care, that they loved that was taken away from them, was taken away from them. Drugs fromp the pouring into our nation and poisoning our. Outh. R y we get the drugs, they get the money. They gete problems, the cash. By stopping the flow of illegal immigration, we will save, ta x dollars. Is tax dollars we are losing beyond anything you can imagine. Usethe tax dollars we can to rebuild the struggling American Communities including our inner cities. We are also going to save countless american lives. As we speak today, Immigration Office is our finding the gang members, the drug dealers and the criminal aliens and throwing them the hell out of our country are. Not let them back in. They are not coming back in, folks. If they do they will have bigger problems than they ever dreamt of. I am working with the department of justice to start reducing violent crime. Can you believe what is happening in chicago as in the table as an example . Two days ago seven people were shot and i believe killed. Chicago, the Great American city. Seven people, shot and killed. Have also followed through with my Campaign Promise and withdrawn at comerica withdrawn america from the Transpacific Partnership so we can protect our economic freedom. We are going to make trade deals, but were going to do it oneonone and if they misbehave we terminate the deal and they will come back and we will make a better deal. None of these big quagmire deals that are a disaster. Take a look at nafta, one of the worst the deals made by any country having to do with economic development. Faromic underdevelopment as as our country is concerned. We are ready to repeal and replace the disaster known as obamacare. Were going to save americans from this crisis and to give them the access to the Quality Health care they need and deserve. We have authorized the construction of the keystone and Dakota Access pipelines. [applause] pres. Trump and issued a new i said who makes the pipes for the pipeline. Well, sir, it comes from all of the world. I said the note, a comes from comesited states it from the United States or we are not building it. American steel. [applause] pres. Trump if they want a states, in the united theyre going to use pipe made in the United States, do we agree . But can you imagine, i told the story the other day, you imagine him,entleman never met dont know the name of his company. I sort of know it but i wouldnt get it back we correct. Big, powerful company. They spend hundreds of millions on the pipeline. They get their approvals in the case of dakota but then they haddnt get it because they people protesting to it never showed up. They spent hundreds of billions of dollars with blood stuck her bloodsucker consultant. Dont worry, were going to get it approved, im connected. Bottom line, obama did not find. Could be 42,000, somewhere around there. 42,000 jobs, somewhere around there. Now he is doing nothing. Thatng his wife, saying type one project really killed our company. Not not, the Keystone Pipeline there has been approved. Can you imagine the expression. The same blood that hit him for all the money and failed, they are now going to do back and say did we do a great job, we want more money. That is the way the system works. Bold action tog lift the restrictions on American Energy including shale, beautiful,l gas, and clean coal, and were going to put our miners back to work. Miners are going back to work. [applause] miners are going back to work, folks. Sorry to you, they are going back to work. We had begun a Historic Program to reduce regulations that are crushing our economy. Crushing. And to not only our economy, but crushing our jobs because companies cant hire. We are going to put the regulation it is out of work and out of. Out of business. I want toulation, protect our environment, i want regulations for safety. I want all the regulations that we need and it wanted to be so strong and tough but we dont need them become percent of the repetitive, horrible regulations that hurco companies, her to jobs, make us a noncompetitive overseas with other companies. Rom other countries that we do not need but were going to have regulations that are going to be really strong and good and were going to protect our environment and were going to protect the safety of our people and our workers. [applause] pres. Trump another major promise is tax reform. We are going to massively lower taxes on the middle class, reduce the taxes on American Business and make our tax code more simple and much more fair for everyone including the peopleand the bit the and the business. In of these and other changes, jobs are already starting to pour back into our country. Than any other prepresident. President elect, they say he is meeting with ford, chrysler, general motors, i just wanted to save a little time. Chrysler, general motors, sprint, intel and 70 others are nowny making Major Investments in the united state, expanding production and hiring more workers and their going back to michigan and their going back to ohio and they are going back to pennsylvania and their going back to North Carolina and to florida. [applause] it is time for all americans to get off of welfare and to get back to work. Youre going to love it. Youre going to love it. We are also putting in a massive budget request for our beloved military. And we will be substantially. Pgraded all of our military offices, decent, everything. Bigger and better stronger than ever before and hopefully we will never have to use it but nobody is going to mess with us, folks. It will be one of the greatest military buildup in american history. No one will their question, because they have been because we are very depleted. Sequester. Sequester. No one will their question our military might again. We believed in peace through strength and that is what will have. As part of my pledge to restore safety for the American People, i have also directed the defense tomunity to develop a plan totally obliterate isis. Allies, weh our will eradicate evil from the face of the earth. At the same time, we fully understand that National Security begins with Border Security. Foreign terrorists will not be able to strike america is a cannot get into our country. They cannot get into our country. Taking look what is taking look at what is happening in europe. We are taking meetings every day with top leaders in business, and science and industry. Had 29 of the biggest Business Leaders in the world in my office. Lot of veryto a good conclusions and a lot of the folks in that rim are going to be building massive new plan and lots of jobs. Theyre going to be building them in this country, not some other country. We are meeting with unions, lawenforcement and leaders from all around the world. Where the white house the doors used to be totally closed, they were closed, folks. They were closed. They are now wideopen and they are open for people doing business for our country and putting people to work. And when they come into the white house, we are translating these meetings into action. One by one, were checking off the promises we made to the people of the United States. One by one, a lot of promises. Until thel not stop job is done. We will reduce your taxes, we will cut your regulations. We will support our police. We will defend our flag. [applause] pres. Trump we will rebuild our military, we will take care of our great, great veterans. We are taking care of veterans.
