$1.58 million redevelopment set for Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool facilities
Fifty-year-old facility to receive new change rooms, toilets, kiosk and clubrooms
Construction set to commence in March 2021
The historic Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool is set to receive a major refurbishment made possible by an investment of more than $374,000 by the McGowan Government.
Sport and Recreation Minister Mick Murray today visited the facility, which is set to receive a grant through the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF).
Built in 1971, the facility includes a six-lane, 50-metre swimming pool with an additional children’s pool and basic change rooms, kiosk and toilets, and is home to the Mount Barker swimming club.
