Also, firefighters have been escorting some of the residents back into the burned Apartment Unit so they can retrieve some of their things. Firefighters say when they got here just before 1 30 this afternoon, three Apartment Buildings were on fire. Investigators say they believe the fire started in the corner building here at mcallister and scott, then spread quickly to two other buildings on either side. We spoke with one of the residents home with their grandson at the time. She said firefighters rang her door to let her know she needed to evacuate. I saw flames coming up everywhere up there. They came and knocked my windows out. We were running downstairs. We saw the fire in the den next to the living room. Reporter firefighters say all the residents were able to make it out of their homes unhurt, but one firefighter did have to be taken to the hospital
