ESCANABA -Elizabeth “Ann” Roman, age 78, of Escanaba, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wis.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, from 1 until 4 p.m. at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba.
A service honoring Ann’s life will follow at 4 p.m. A reception will be held at the Eagles Club in Escanaba. Ann will be laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday, April 30, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Michigan Bikers Helping Veterans http://www.supportmiveterans.org and the UP Honor Flight http://www.upperpeninsulahonorflight.org/. ESCANABA Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Directors of the Gary Abrahamson Jr. Memory Care Center has decided to cancel the 2021 Par-Tee Fundraising Dinner, originally scheduled for April 15, 2021.
“While this decision was a difficult one, in light of the continued uncertainty about the future, we decided that it is best to cancel the Par-Tee this year for everyone’s safety,” said Mary Uelmen, who works in the Mission Advancement Office at the Bishop Noa Home and manages the Gary Abrahamson, Jr. Memory Care Center (GAJMCC).
