Skoda Rapid Rider, the entry-level model in the sedan s range, has been quite a popular offering. This much became evident when the Czech carmaker suspended the Skoda sedan s bookings in India last year. As a matter of fact, the company eventually went on to remove the Rapid Rider s listing from its official website in December 2020. But thanks to the sustained demand for the entry-level Skoda Rapid Rider, the company has re-introduced it in India with a price tag of ₹7.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Skoda Rapid Rider s new price makes it about ₹30,000 more expensive as compared to when it was first launched in the country.

Skoda Auto India has launched the refreshed Superb sedan for the 2021 model year. The 2021 Skoda Superb comes with a host of new features and is priced at ₹ 31.99 lakh for the SportLine and ₹ 34.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, India) for the Laurin & Klement variants. Ladies and gentlemen, Skoda India has finally revealed what its upcoming SUV in India will be called! Previously referred to as the Skoda Vision IN, the car has been christened Skoda Kushaq. Zac Hollis, Director - ŠKODA AUTO India, took to Twitter to make the announcement and also explain the story behind the name. But before we get to that, it must be noted that the new Skoda SUV s name is in sync with the Czech automaker s naming strategy for its SUVs, i.e. every model s name starts with a K and finds a Q at the end.
