issue is opportunity inequality. if we don t have an answer for the increasing opportunity gap in america let me follow up on that. the majority of jobs created in the country are low wage jobs. how do we shift to the economy of opportunity for all? well it starts with education reform which we have not taken seriously. and this is, of course a 20-year goal and doesn t start until we start it. the second thing is we have to be warriors for the expansion of high skill jobs that don t require a college education. we are not taking vocational education seriously. worker retraining. not thinking of energy reform and tax reform of areas of policy to be thinking about increasing the number of jobs for people in this country that could have skills but don t require a college education. we are not taking it seriously and we could do a lot more. i feel like there s a disconnect conservatives talking about these jobs. calling up the american enterprise institute and what can we do to get
johnson. many low skill jobs disappeared. jobs that require a college degree or some training have been growing in the past three years. they returned to pre-recession levels. the same cannot be said for low skilled jobs. growth is weak for jobs like fast food and cleaning services and retail. those are the only ones coming back early on in the recovery. now the trend has reversed as jobs that require a college degree or training those are the jobs that returned to pre-recession levels. early start continues right now. breaking news this morning. a u.s. military helicopter missing after nepal s devastating earthquake has been found. we are live. dramatically gaining speed as approaching the curve. mounting questions into the
committee meet forcing the delay. mcconnell said the committee will be inconvenienced by sanders actions. the committee still plans to meet after a recess. more action on this. today the afl cio took some action by doing this. they released this commercial against fast track earlier today. there is a fast track trade bill being pushed through congress. if it doesn t stop, we will be railroaded. fast track. it s just another bad trade deal. a deal that will give corporations sweeping power. kill jobs, weaken the economy. even allow toxic food to enter u.s. markets unchecked. we know the price of these bad trade deals. don t let congress railroad america s working families. this fast track deal must be stopped. the afl cio said today this is a seven-figure ad buy. it s been a long time since they ve done something like that.
