A team of 41 officials from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has started a survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid premises in Varanasi. The survey, which includes measuring the area and collecting soil samples, was approved by the Allahabad high court and aims to determine if the 17th-century mosque was built on a Hindu temple. The survey will continue on Saturday and is expected to help resolve the long-standing dispute between Hindus and Muslims over the site. The ASI team used advanced equipment and took photographs and videos as part of the survey. | Latest News India
