Watchmen Star Regina King Tries To Identify Which Superheroes Are Real
✖
Regina King may have played a superhero herself, but that doesn t necessarily make her an expert in identifying which are the real deal, and which are just created for comedic effect. She proved this a bit, during a Superhero ro Superzero? segment on
The Late Late Show With James Corden. Flanked by a trio of fake superheroes,
Late Late Show staffers dressed up as the DC heroes Arm Fall Off Boy and Polka Dot Man (set to make his big-screen debut in
The Suicide Squad later this year), and the British comics and TV hero Bananaman. King got one of her three guesses right.
A Timeline Of Regina King s Most Memorable Yet Underrated Roles
On this day, and everyday, we celebrate Queen Regina King.
Give Queen Regina King all of her flowers. Long known as an underrated treasure in Hollywood, King is underrated
no more. She has graced the big and small screens for decades and proven there’s no role she can’t tackle. Known for her humility, grace and of course, her style, what has made King most irresistible is her versatility propelling from child star to now one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actresses and directors. Not to mention, a mantle of awards to match (including an Oscar and four Emmys to be exact).
Watchmen Star Regina King Celebrates One Night In Miami Theatrical Release with Alamo Drafthouse
One Night in Miami with Alamo Drafthouse. The film had been greatly anticipated heading into the last quarter of 2020. King’s story centers on Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Sam Cooke, and Jim Brown meeting to discuss their lives. It’s a fictionalized account of the night Ali prevailed over Sonny Liston to capture the world championship in a stunner. Alamo sent out a tweet to commemorate a limited release for fans who want to see the spectacle in theaters. King sounds excited for more fans to get the chance to see her project. The reviews have been very good so far, and unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic has limited some of the exposure for the project. With this availability, more people will be able to see the movie. Check out her tweet down below.
The People Who Ruled 2020 In Movies and TV
Celebrating the awesome performers and creatives who gave us hope in the dumpster-fire year that was 2020.
We’re obliged to open any 2020 retrospective with the acknowledgment that this was a monumentally awful year. And it was. But there were a bunch of talented performers and creators who managed to make it
slightly less awful with their awards-caliber performances, game-changing creations, and, in one case, by contributing to the cure of the very thing that caused this awful year. (Did we mention how awful this year has been?). These are the people who gave us reason to cheer, scream, and smile – under our masks – in 2020.
