(KTIV) - State health officials reported 1,035 new positive cases in Iowa between 10 a.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday, this is according to the COVID-19 dashboard.
At 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Iowa Department of Public Health reported 325,379 total positive cases since the pandemic began. That number rose to 326,414 by 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The state s dashboard says out of those who have tested positive, 296,440 have recovered, an increase of 1,378 since yesterday.
The state has reported 64 additional deaths connected to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, bringing the state s death toll to 5,174.
Subtracting the number of recoveries (297,818) and the number of deaths (5,174) from the total number of cases (326,414) shows there are currently 23,422 active virus cases in the state.
