Several trains were delayed and traffic snarled in Mumbai as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers heading for the party s 38th Foundation Day rally at BKC, made unscheduled halts enroute, Western Railway officials said on Friday.

Moderate rainfall on Wednesday has led to traffic diversions and road closures due to waterlogging in various parts of Mumbai. Some of the key roads that were worst affected by the rains inclue the Western Express Highway (WEH), Eastern Express Highway (EEH) and the Eastern Freeway.
Andheri subway has been temporarily closed due to waterlogging, Dahisar subway will follow suit, said an official. Waterlogging was reported along the SV Road as well, stunting vehicular movement.
