the lives that are broken. people on the margins whose homes, whose jobs, even their own bodies and their health are now precarious. people who don t have the insurance or the resources to rebuild. my team down here and i went for a drive here not far from where we discovered dozens of people at a shrimping dock for whom that is the situation tonight. no one has reached them and it is not clear if anyone has tried but i saw them. and you can see them too. take a look. [inaudible] it went into the rafters, we were away up in it. it started pushing on us and, long story short, it [inaudible] took over serious water. the bone next to me, they got me going [inaudible] i didn t know if the building was gonna hold up or not. i went in hard, just seven [inaudible] my seventh hurricane. this is mature seventh? hurricane yes. [inaudible] now ian. and this is by far the worst. why? what was the worst of it? the wind, the tide. the tide surge! harvey, we had a tight surge, but
miles per hour. those winds caused storm surges. a major hazard for this low-lying region. at this hour, more than 1.2 million people across florida remain without electricity. as of late yesterday, parts of the county, where i am now, where it made landfall, they did not have access to clean drinking water. many people have no running water whatsoever. it is hard to know exactly how many people are displaced right now. officials estimate that it is in the tens of thousands. at least 34 people have been confirmed dead so far. 12 of them right here in lee county. after barreling through florida, you can regain strength over the atlantic ocean. it then made a second landfall as a category one hurricane in south carolina yesterday afternoon. the damage there is a fraction of the devastation that ian brought through southwest florida. you can see the aftermath. what you can see in the images are the broken lives. these are people on the margins whose homes, jobs, bodies, and he

that would be the end of it. so he said the burden was on them to decide if they would put forward any position that these documents have been classified. and the former president has said it publically, but not an argument that his attorneys have made yet. and his lawyers said that they hope to push that issue down the road because it also raises the stakes of how would they support that, it could involve affidavits, witness statements, sworn statements under oath which could become an interesting strategic decision for them to make which they even noted as part of their defense if there ever is a subsequent indictment in this case. so really getting to the heart of this issue here and what trump s team will take. and on a practical matter the judge said trump s lawyers have until friday to choose one of five vendors put toward by the department of justice, they will kick start the process of reviewing these materials, allowing both sides to categorize them as to whether thi
