Celebrity jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali, DJ Aqeel announce separation

Mumbai, Mar 16: Celebrity jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali and DJ Aqeel Ali have confirmed their split after being happily separated for nine years.
Farah, 51, and Aqeel, best known for Shake It Daddy Mix and Tu Hai Wahi remix, tied the knot in 1999. They are parents to son Azaan, 18, and daughter Fizaa, 15.
Farah, who is the daughter of veteran actor Sanjay Khan, took to Instagram on Monday night to share the post about their separation.
Aqeel, 44, also shared the same statement on his account. Sometimes two people grow apart. Sometimes they outgrow each other. It has been 9 years since my relationship with my husband Aqeel changed its status as a couple to just friends and to term it simply would be to state that we are Happily Separated , they said.
Violation of norms will result in the shutting down of the establishment as long as the Central government s notification of the Covid-19 pandemic as a disaster is in force, it said.

New Delhi, Mar 16: Amid the ongoing vaccination drive, several states in India are witnessing a surge in Covid-19 cases since late February and early March. According to exerts, it appears that the second wave of the pandemic is here. Also, the speed of the spread is comparable to the first wave.
In Maharashtra, the state reported a record 16,620 new cases, accounting for 63.21 per cent of the daily new cases reported in the country.
The centre has said in a letter to the Uddhav Thackeray-led government that authorities have urged the state to focus on containment strategies, social distancing and hygiene. The letter, based on the assessment of a central team, notes the lack of Covid-appropriate behavior and tracking and testing of cases.

Mumbai, Mar 16: Actor Rituparna Sengupta on Tuesday said she has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently under quarantine at a recovery centre in Singapore.
The 50-year-old actor took to Instagram and said she is asymptomatic and is following the necessary protocols listed by the authorities. I have tested positive for COVID-19 but I want to inform you all that I am feeling fine. I am asymptomatic and following all the required protocols and precautions advised by my doctor and authorities. I am currently in Singapore and have quarantined myself at recovery centre, she wrote.
