Ireland’s exporters are calling on the government to implement a national strategic plan for air cargo on and off the island, warning of an impending crisis for manufacturing companies if air travel continues to be limited.
The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) said restrictions on air travel would have major knock-on effects for companies that bring in vital manufacturing materials in the bellies of passenger aircraft.
