Photographer captures beauty of albino skin in people across the globe including an Indian girl who can only leave home after dark and a Kurdish boy who lives in a house with completely white decor Photographer Silvia Alessi, 44, from Bergamo in Italy, created a piece of work called Skin Project to highlight the negativity often still faced by people with albino skin and hair Albinism is a genetic disorder characterised by the absence of melanin in the skin, hair, and eyes, leaving those who have it with white hair and very pale skin  Alessi met three elderly siblings from India with the skin condition, as well as teenager Namira, from Mumbai, who only leaves her home after the sun has gone down
