when i was small she helped to look after me, picking me and my sister up after school a couple of times a week. but in the last few years, this has all changed due to the onset of alzheimer s. it was 11 when you started to notice changes in your grandma? when she would collect you frin school and normally make your tea. then she started to get a bit confused to making the dinners, when it got a little bit worse, i had to start making them. i love you being supportive and stepping up, but i thought that was too much responsibility, that you were still 11. i kept going over to hers regularly, but our relationship changed. there are plenty of things we can still do together, she loves looking at family photos, although she is not always sure who everyone is. that is me. yes, that is you. yeah, that s me. when i was very, very small. early on i started to find out
