Wearing a face mask is compulsory in all vehicles carrying more than one person in Bangkok, City Hall said on Monday.
City Clerk Silapasuai Rawisaengsun confirmed the requirement, part of measures by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
If there is more than one person in the vehicle, the driver and passengers must wear masks, she said. This applies even if they are of the same family.
BMA invites all sectors to push forward Green Bangkok 2030 Project

Mrs. Silapasuai Rawisaengsun, Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), revealed that the BMA had implemented a project called “Green Bangkok 2030”.
This project is a collaboration between public and private sectors aiming to increase green space per capita to 10 square meters per person within the year 2030. As for the project performance in 2020, 3 public parks were created. Moreover, there will be 9 more public parks and green spaces that will be completed during the year 2021 – 2022.
