Atiq is being brought back to Prayagraj in connection with the 2007 Umesh Pal kidnapping and criminal conspiracy case in which he is the main accused. He will be produced before the court in Prayagraj on March 28 when the verdict will be delivered.
The accused, Dhakad Ram Bishnoi, was arrested from Jodhpur in Rajasthan for sending a threat email to Salman Khan. According to Jodhpur Police Commissioner Ravidutt Gaur, the operation was carried out under the supervision of Additional DCP Jaiprakash Atal. The accused was also earlier arrested under Arms act.
