Indonesia s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported a magnitude 4.4 quake in Indonesia near Ambon City, Maluku, only 9 minutes ago. The earthquake hit in the morning on Friday 7 May 2021 at 11:00 am local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 4.4 as well.

An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 occurred only 19 minutes ago 44 miles south of Sand Point, Alaska, United States, the United States Geological Survey reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10.1 miles beneath the epicenter near Sand Point, Aleutians East, Alaska, USA, in the afternoon on Thursday 6 May 2021 at 4:49 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 3.1 earthquake as well.
