Homeless charity s van hits the road thanks to Shuttle readers

HELP founder Dave Griffin and volunteer Jo Ridsdill-Wardle in the new Shuttle Run van A HOMELESS charity’s brand new van has hit the roads of Wyre Forest, delivering supplies to people in need. BEDS, sofas and household appliances have been delivered to some of Wyre Forest’s most vulnerable residents after donations from Shuttle readers funded a new van for local homeless charity HELP. The Shuttle Run Appeal, which ran from February to September to mark the newspaper’s 150th anniversary, successfully raised £10,000 to buy the vehicle, which is already being put to good use.
