NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Some of the private vaccination centres in Noida and Ghaziabad saw increased footfall over the weekend as shortage of doses halted inoculations at government facilities.
The hospitals said more people had come in the first week of July than the last week of June. “We were doing an average of about 100 doses daily. However, in the past few days, we have been vaccinating 100-150 people every day. More people now want to get vaccinated at the earliest but want to avoid crowded centres,” said Dr Dinesh Sharma, director of Kailash Hospital at Greater Noida.
Apart from government facilities, the three private centres in Noida that have inoculated the maximum number of people are Kailash, Felix Hospital and Max Superspeciality Centre.
