BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh s Mandi Ram Swaroop Sharma was found dead at his residence in Delhi on Wednesday. Ram Swaroop Sharma is survived by his wife and three sons.
Sharma s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his flat in Gomti Apartments near RML Hospital. The cause of suicide is not known and police have launched an investigation into the matter. BJP MP from Mandi, Ram Swaroop Sharma died allegedly by suicide in Delhi. Police received a call from a staffer. He was found hanging and the door was closed from inside, ANI quoted Delhi Police as saying.

BJP MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh Ram Swaroop Sharma died in New Delhi on Wednesday, a spokesperson of the party said here.
Delhi Police PRO Chinmoy Biswal said his body was found hanging from a ceiling fan. He was taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Sixty-two-year-old Sharma had been suffering from various ailments.
Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide, the police said, adding that no suicide note was found from the spot.
