Mumbai: Amidst the second wave of Covid-19, the Jain community in Mumbai has converted one of their temples into a dedicated Covid-19 centre due to rapidly increasing numbers of cases in the city, setting a great example.
The centre with 100 beds includes general and delux wards with Pathology Lab and Oxygen facility was inaugurated today. More than 50 medical staff including 10 doctors are deployed in the facility. Doctor Tanvi, who works at the centre said this would provide some relief to the overburdened system.
