Alameda county fire along with several agencies were part of the efforts and because of the fog and rain and wind, they were not able to hear the aircraft to help locate the wreckage. Officials believe the weather may have played a role in this crash. A sheriffs spokesperson describes the scene. Its a large area of wreckage. It looked like the plane may have clipped from tree tops before crashing into the ground. Its a rough, difficult terrain. Youve probably had three inches of rain here so its muddy and slippery. States of emergency have been declared in mississippi, louisiana, alabama and georgia. This storm could be worse than the one last month that crippled atlanta.
