leaders rare and public back and forth over controversial judicial reform plans. good morning. welcome to our viewers in the united states and around the world. i m christine romans. we begin this morning in kentucky, where two blackhawk helicopters crashed overnight. officials say they went down and trigg county, which is just north of the kentucky tennessee state border. the crew was flying a routine training mission at the time. the army has just confirmed several casualties. we don t have an exact number yet. this photo from wk dz radio shows flames from the crash. here s what one witness who lives about a half a mile away from the crash site saw and heard. two helicopters came over pretty low and all of a sudden, soon as i got older house, something loud banging everything shut down just all of a sudden, so we joined the truck came over here. that s what we ve found two helicopters so still waiting for more information from the army about how many people were on board ea
actually most of the people i interviewed. this is really interesting because all the business books will tell you. you have to have a plan and you got to know where you re going. and then you have every step of the way to get where you re going. but what i found is so many of the people i interviewed weren t exactly sure where they were going to end up. it was this. it was this process this roadmap that took them there, and i interviewed everybody from james patterson, the novelist who s a mega successful guy. i first met him more than 30 years ago. when he i covered him at the wall street journal. he was an advertising executive and a struggling writer, and he walked me through the process, and it was the same process for him as it was for a guy named chris donovan, who was a telephone repairman who ultimately became a shoe designer. and the same for a mom who i interviewed who left the paid workforce but was able to emerge 12 years later after raising her kids as a nonprofit ceo and
women s shoe designer. and he was strong and tough but sensitive and creative and artistic. yet you know, we re talking about masculinity, i think my father is a masculine man. and he just taught me like it s okay to, you know, focus on your family. be there for your family no matter what. do you ever catch yourself thinking what would a woman do in this situation? not what a woman do but how would a how would a woman be perceived or covered. i m very mindful of that. i m very mindful of like the fact i m sitting here with you and the fact that sometimes we get attention for doing things that others have done and maybe didn t get the same attention. there was a great line that seth meyers used when your wife was on. my husband, doug, and i,
