Brandishing a rifle at a restaurant at stony point and todd road that doubles as a nightclub on weekends. As deputies arrived, the man took off in a white car. A short while later, a deputy reported that he was behind the car and lets. The minute after that, the deputy yelled in his radio shots fired after the suspect opened fire with a high powered rifle fired rounds at the deputies, they returned fire. The suspect got back in his,e man continued driving and led deputiesuon a chase north on stony point. The suspect fired at least a second time at deputiesc before crashing on stony point near butler avenue. He died, but its result of being shot or being hurt in the crash, or some combination of both. At least one sheriffs patrol car crashed into this fence outside a home hours later. Two damaged sheriffs cars were towed from the area.
