whether she s a public figure or not has to be settled from here to court. before i show i want to start tonight by getting this behind showing what breitbart put out on his website from the beginning, the way he characterized what she said and what part of her speech he actually show and how he said it was said in time. very important facts that will be very important in this case. let me go to ken vogel of politico. your sense of where this takes this whole thing as a big issue in this country. this horrible story about how a woman was slimed basically here by a website. then of course, all the fox, et cetera embellished it. where is this going now? it definitely raises serious questions that are going to continue to be debated over the administration s reaction. sort of hypersensitivity to racial issues and whether obama s advancing the conversation of race and also about journalism and what is journalism today. what responsibility do folks who
we know what he s doing. he wants to trash the liberals. . is he pretty successful at this. he got a.c.o.r.n. destroyed. it was picked up by fox nation which is their blog site, their website. it was thrown out there. somehow somebody got nervous at the white house and said whoa, this is going to be on glen beck tonight. maybe they had a source. maybe this is what they figured beck would do. the point is, this pin ball machine of craziness was started by one guy who put the ball bearing into the machine. this wasn t just some accident. this is one person, breitbart who sought to create chaos and devastation to this woman and to the naacp. do you think the president s right to snowe throw this snowball at everybody? no, first of all, yeah, i think he is right to criticize the media generally because we are looking for these stories. however, the criticism, i think the valid criticism is not so much that we re looking for something sensational and a good story because that s you re job

i think she s alleging that heรง knowingly put out an edite version of a video that he depict it had as she was a racist and she discriminated against black farmer. but if you listen to her whole tape, the 43-minute tape, chris, you find that in fact, she helped the black farmer. she tells a would you feel story about how she came to learn that blacks and whites have more in common than differences and that the real issue or one of the real issues is class. and so, to depict her as a racist in the first place is ridiculous. he also depicked her as currently working for the usda when this happened. that s not true. it happened 24 years ago. so it was can complete misrepresentation of who she is and what she said. i think that s where she s headed. why does he get to do this? i cannot comment on whether i think it will succeed or not, but you know, she s a person looking for a remedy. she s entitled to do it.
and in life. regions. regions. it s time to expect more. sherrod story was turn on its head at warp speed. monday forced to resign at her job, wednesday shower with apologies. it should have been done with far more thought and should have been done in far less haste and all of those are my responsibility.
