Each jury report contained several recommendations, and the board could not implement several of them because they lie out of their jurisdiction, said Cati Gallardo, the county’s public information officer. One particular recommendation urged the county to create an incentive plan to retain behavioral health clinicians in the county jail and hire new ones for unfilled positions, but Gallardo said it would not be implemented.
Judge Kelly Neel also issued a protective order for several of the threatened parties: District Attorney Stacey Eads, former District Attorney Maggie Fleming, District Attorney Investigator Martin Morris, 2nd District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell, 1st District Supervisor Rex Bohn, former Sheriff Mike Downey, Sheriff William Honsal, Fortuna Police Chief Casey Day, her former attorney Kathleen Bryson and DANCO owner Dan Johnson. In the misdemeanor criminal complaint filed against her, Aunna Bollmann is accused of threatening to kill Bohn, Fleming and Honsal.
The restraining order request contains transcripts Aunna Bollmann's several lengthy calls to 2nd District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell and 1st District Supervisor Rex Bohn, in addition to statements where she threatened to kill the entire current Board of Supervisors, several former members of the board, Sheriff William Honsal, the entire Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office, county counsel’s office, Fortuna Police Chief Casey Day and many others.
