Share Nancy Valliere SCARBOROUGH – Nancy Valliere, 88, passed away at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough, May 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving and extensive family. Nancy was born March 26, 1933 in Ridgefield Park, N.J., a daughter of George and Lillian (Syvertsen) Delyannis. After completing high school, Nancy joined the Air Force where she attained the rank of Staff Sargeant. After serving in Frankfurt, Germany and Washington DC she returned to civilian life in which she met and then married Paul Valliere (whom she met via her best friend who was married to his brother Robert), of Berlin, New Hampshire, in 1957. Together they raised six children and shared almost 57 years of life and marriage before Paul passed away in 2013.While their children were growing up, Nancy was very active in the community while working in t

Share Natalie Small Hague FALMOUTH – Natalie Small Hague was born on Nov. 27, 1924 in Westbrook, the daughter of Fred W. and Laura A. Bragdon Small. She grew up in Gorham attending Gorham schools and graduating from Gorham High School in 1941, salutatorian of her class. She attended Westbrook Jr. College, class of 1943 and graduated from University of New Hampshire in 1945, cum laude with a major in art. She immediately began her career as assistant advertising manager at Owen Moore ladies department store in Portland. She worked closely with Gannett Publishing Company’s Portland Press Herald and Sunday Telegram in her capacity as fashion director at Owen Moore.
