SCARBOROUGH – Nancy Valliere, 88, passed away at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough, May 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving and extensive family.
Nancy was born March 26, 1933 in Ridgefield Park, N.J., a daughter of George and Lillian (Syvertsen) Delyannis. After completing high school, Nancy joined the Air Force where she attained the rank of Staff Sargeant. After serving in Frankfurt, Germany and Washington DC she returned to civilian life in which she met and then married Paul Valliere (whom she met via her best friend who was married to his brother Robert), of Berlin, New Hampshire, in 1957. Together they raised six children and shared almost 57 years of life and marriage before Paul passed away in 2013.While their children were growing up, Nancy was very active in the community while working in t
