What were doing now through the Emergency Operation center and in partnership with the department of Public Health, the Human Services agency and Housing Support homeless, were connecting individuals with the most appropriate solution. What that says is that even though we locally are doing everything that we can to provide resources to the public, we know that theres so much more that needs to be done. We cant wait for a federal stimulus check in many cases, people who are living paycheck to paycheck and need money to pay their bills. And we know, especially our hairdressers and our nail salons, our barbershops, theyre probably suffering the most. Because if they dont work they dont have any income. So this is a very challenging time for all of us. And as we deal with the protecting of Public Health, we need to always protect the Financial Health of our families and communities. After were able to reopen what is that going to look like . And how will we be able to continue to make sure that everyone has a decent paying job with benefits .
