Police and government health officials in Spruce Grove, Canada shut down GraceLife Church Wednesday morning after they allegedly failed to follow coronavirus regulations.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Department (RCMP), the federal police in Spruce Grove, confirmed to the Daily Caller that the church was forced to shut down because they were not following the Alberta Public Health Act. The news that the church had been shut down was first reported by Rebel News.
A video posted by Rebel News reporter Sheila Gunn Reid showed officers standing outside the entrance to the church parking lot, which appeared to be blocked by several vehicles. A fence around the church is visible in the background.

A church in Alberta, Canada was raided by police this morning for remaining open against a local order telling the house of worship to close due to COVID-19. After the early morning raid, police erected barricades around the building and are refusing to let anyone on the property.

Rebel Media’s Sheila Gunn Reid aims her YouTube spotlight at a GraceLife Church outside Edmonton, which, she reported last week, “has been the site of peaceful Christian civil disobedience” after Pastor James Coates refused to comply with public-health orders to limit crowd sizes and wear a mask.
“Two Sundays ago, he was arrested by the local RCMP for violating public-health orders,” she explains, but “took to the pulpit again” on Feb. 14, “in defiance of the government but in obedience to his God … while the RCMP waited outside.”
