CASPER, Wyo. State Health Officer Dr. Alexia Harrist said during a conference call with members of the media on Monday that Wyoming’s new public health orders are necessary to help alleviate the burden the COVID-19 pandemic is placing on hospitals in the state.
The governor’s office announced a new statewide statewide mask mandate set to take effect on Wednesday. Wyoming’s existing public health orders have also been modified to include new restrictions on bars and restaurants and limitations on group gatherings also set to take effect Wednesday.
