Is so far we are not finished with the assessment yet. Reporter epa investigators are testing 34 nearby properties to see if they are sitting on a led dumping ground. So far tests around her home have come up negative. But she is fully aware of what this does to her property value. The value of these properties and they are nice homes but the value will go down. This unfolded last spring when workers repairing a damaged line started to dig up plastic debris and the ensuing epa investigation reveal that sometime before the houses were built 20 years ago someone buried several tons of car battery casings in this area. The family is living in a hotel until their property is cleaned up and the testing in the neighborhood is months away from completion. The good news is we are here and well clean it up.
