Last week, members of the All Progressive Congress in the Senate and House of Representatives, contrary to the wish of millions of Nigerians, voted against electronic transmission of results in the Electoral act amendment Bill, Deji Elumoye and Udora Orizu report Despite protests, outcries and clamours over the years by millions of Nigerians and stakeholders for a transparent electoral process, members of the Ninth National Assembly, last Thursday, shattered hopes by whittling down the provision on electronic transmission of results.
