Suspect in auburn after police say he broke into a home and the homeowner shot at him. Good afternoon. Im erin fehlau. Are searching nearby woods for the suspect. Wmurs Kristen Carosa is live in auburn with what we know at this hour. Kristen we are here on route 121 where authorities could be seen searching this hour, and the search continues. Auburn police s t report of a confrontation between a homeowner an intruder. A gun was fired by the homeowner at the intruder but no one was hit. Intruder then ran off into the woods. Auburn police with the help of state police set up a perimeter at hooksett road and route 121. Police say at one point they spotted the suspect but lost sight of him. The suspect is being described as a white male between 30 to 40 years old with gray hair and a this morning. There is still a heavy Police Presence at woodhill drive.
