long-running legal case. two former de anza college baseball players are not liable for the alleged gang-rape of a teenaged girl. this morning, a san jose jury found there was no negligence on the part of the defendants the night of that off campus party. the incident made headlines in 2007 when the woman who was then 17 claimed she was attacked by a group of baseball players. but this morning, jurors in the civil trial said the defendants were not liable and will not have to pay damages to the victim. outside the courthouse there was strong reaction from all sides to this verdict. the truth prevailed in the courthouse by her absence. she brought this all on herself and then cried wolf. absolute joy, relief. he has been under the threat of everything for four years. he is now free. and to say he is happy is a tremendous understatement. sure, the girl made a mistake. but these device should be held accountable. they wer animals. they took advantage of a young girl. eig
