The Sale poet who has just written a book in lockdown

The Sale poet who has just published a book in lockdown  SUE Dempsey, from Sale, has finished the second part of a trilogy of comic poems, writes Julia Taylor. She, and Sharon Richards, the founder of her storytelling group Success Stories, are now working together to get the 90-page book Getting There, published. Sue said: “We have just got the proof copy back. After a couple of corrections it will be printed. “Older readers especially like my poems because they can identify with incidents such as senior moments.” She joked that people who didn’t have such moments before lockdown certainly have them now.
