Late last night we learned all Prince Georges County Public Schools are closed today. 1,700 teachers and 30 of the transportation staff requested leave today and in d. C. All six Center City Public Charter schools will be closed because of staff requests for time off. Alexandria city Public Schools are also closed today. More than 300 Staff Members there requested the day off. The closures have a lot of parents scrambling to find child care today.
