Some of those owners are allows their employees to take the day off tomorrow if they take part in the boycott. I think it is a great thing. Reporter she manages the dog bark, a Small Business owned by a woman. She sells dog accessories. I think people need to see how much a woman has to offer. Reporter she will most likely not see as many customers on wednesday because of a day without a woman boycott. Many women will stay home from work. Participants are asked to only shop at small women or minority owned businesses. She gave us the option of taking off and being involved in the protest. Reporter ruth owned pizzeria. She is giving her female employees the day off. Focus attention on the fact that women are not valued society. Reporter Public Schools in alexandria and Prince George s will be closed. Police walk a suspect out of a Movie Theater where he crawled up the scaffolding behind the movie screen and into that ceiling. An officer with the city actually climbed the ladder to negotiate with him this afternoon. Prince georges county pictures. The man was wanted for a series of burglaries. He did come down but not without doing a lot of damage to the theater. Officers said every time he moved pieces of the ceiling would fall down. We are learning a lot more about a Freight Train that smashed into a tour bus full of people including the fact that there were lights, signs, a gate warning. Two men and two women were killed and paramedics rushed dozens more to hospitals in mississippi. The bus was carrying Senior Citizens and families. The driver started yelling at people to get off as the train roared at them. The collision pushed the bus 300 feet down the tracks. Police recommended buses dont use that crosses as residents are blaming a steep grade that this is a bad crossing. I dont know it hasnt been corrected. But it should have been done years ago. Tonight only news 4 talked to the 911 dispatcher who helped police catch him here in d. C. Jackie bensen live at the scene where officers found the suspect. Reporter he was standing right here at rhode island thinking he was getting away with the murder that happened 40 miles but not while sharon jones is taking 911 calls. The person stated he sees a person who killed the Security Guard at Potomac Mills mall. Reporter the call came in around 9 30 this morning. Sharon jones had seen news reports about the tragic murder of the 44yearold Security Guard at Burlington Coat factory stabbed to death saturday after confronting a shop lifter. Jones had seen a picture of the suspect, 35yearold jamel kingsbury. He assured me that is him. He said i just saw it. Reporter jones juggled computer and phone sending police while when i heard an officer in the background he said to me he is running. I said if he is running then that is him. Reporter her reaction to learning kingsbury is in custody. I have family. I would want somebody to do the same. Reporter jones also had praise for the 911 caller. He said they stopped him. I said good job. I said good job. Reporter kingsbury remains jailed here awaiting extradition. New tonight d. C. s top brass taking on the recent uptick of gun violence in the city. About 200 concerned residents attended tonights meeting along rhode island avenue and northeast. Five people were shot in that area last thursday. Reporter they had apparently called ahead and put the cards on hold and then the next morning the guy whose car i hit is here and he needs ,000 cash. Another trip to target to buy more gift cards. The next day when the phone rang again they had it. That is when i said we have reached the limit. We have no more money. Now you have to call your dad. Reporter she says they discovered they had been conned when they called to check on him the following week and he had no idea what his grandparents were talking about.
