Three charged after fleeing on motorcycles

According deputies, the radar confirmed the motorcycles were doing 110mph in a 65mph zone. Deputies attempted to stop the motorcycles but they continued, turning left onto Duncan’s Chapel Road. A deputy saw the motorcycles turn into a driveway at 640 Duncans Chapel. It was at this location that all three operators were located hiding behind a garage. Eric Zimmerman, 21, of Sharon Grove, was charged with speeding (greater than 26mph over), reckless driving, and 2nd degree fleeing/evading. Jeremy Hollis, 23, of Auburn, was charged with speeding (greater than 26mph over), reckless driving, 2nd degree fleeing/evading, failure to register transfer, no registration plates, failure to maintain insurance, and no motorcycle operator’s license.

Father, son injured in Elkton ATV accident

An ATV accident Sunday afternoon in Elkton injured a man and his son. Elkton Police Officer Jakop Smith says it happened about 3:30 p.m. on Weathers Avenue near Deborah Street and witnesses indicated a malfunction of the equipment caused the ATV to overturn, ejecting 39-year old Kevin Grace of Sharon Grove and his six-year-old son to the street. Both sustained head injuries and were taken by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital in Clarksville. Sharon Grove Man Found With Drugs After Traffic Stop

A Sharon Grove man was found with meth after a traffic stop for speeding on Sharon Grove Road in Todd County Tuesday morning. Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop 41-year-old Jason Mock for going 21 MPH over the speed limit on Kentucky 181. Mock reportedly turned onto Sharon Grove Road and accelerated to 100 MPH before turning into a driveway and pulling behind a shed near Highland Lick Road. Deputies say after a search of his vehicle, a pipe with suspected meth was found. Mock was also found to have a warrant for trafficking a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
