The motorcyclist who crashed Friday on Sharon Grove Road in Todd County has died from his injuries.
Todd County Sheriff Tracy White says 64-year old Vernon Michael Sharp of Lewisburg died Friday night in a Nashville hospital.
As previously reported, Sharp had been traveling in the 3200 block of Sharon Grove Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed off the roadway.

A motorcycle accident Friday afternoon in Todd County sent a man to a Nashville hospital in critical condition.
It happened in the 3200 block of Sharon Grove Road where 64-year old Vernon Michael Sharp of Lewisburg failed to negotiate a curve and crashed.
Sheriff Tracy White says Sharp was unconscious and in critical condition when he was treated by EMS at the scene and then flown by Air Evac to a hospital in Nashville.
Deputy David Hutcheson is investigating the accident and the Sharon Grove Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
A Sharon Grove man was found with meth after a traffic stop for speeding on Sharon Grove Road in Todd County Tuesday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop 41-year-old Jason Mock for going 21 MPH over the speed limit on Kentucky 181.
Mock reportedly turned onto Sharon Grove Road and accelerated to 100 MPH before turning into a driveway and pulling behind a shed near Highland Lick Road.
Deputies say after a search of his vehicle, a pipe with suspected meth was found. Mock was also found to have a warrant for trafficking a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
