A cyber crook posed as an IPS officer on Facebook and duped two men of Rs 1.3 lakh by creating a fake profile impersonating IPS officer Narasingha Bhol. The victims realized they were scammed when they contacted the real IPS officer and found out about the fraud. Cyber police have been investigating similar cases of fake social media profiles.
