The YSS of North Iowa — which provides youth mental health services like education, counseling, and stability — unveiled its revamped campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon.
Over 130 individuals threw on their suits and gowns for a cause at the Second Annual Evening with Francis at the Surf Ballroom, raising the organization over $30,000 on Friday.

(ABC 6 News) - Vaccinations have begun at MercyOne North Iowa.
MercyOne North Iowa received its first shipment of the Moderna vaccine on Monday, December 21and began vaccinating health care colleagues with their first dose on December 22. MercyOne will continue to voluntary vaccinations to frontline colleagues identified in Tier I and II in alignment with the CDC prioritization.
“We’re incredibly excited the vaccine is here,” said Dr. Paul Manternach, chief medical officer of MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. “I would encourage anyone who is offered the vaccine to take it. Vaccination is the best way to get control of this pandemic.”
