The Villages of Indiana, the state s largest private child and family welfare agency, announced Tuesday it had named Shannon Schumacher its new president and CEO.
Schumacher has over 20 years of experience in nonprofits and human services, according to a news release, most recently as vice president of strategy, innovation and clinical services with Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana. She first joined the organization as a clinician in 1999 and served as the organization s chief operations officer from 2012-18.
