Shannon Dowling, a spokesperson for the City of Greater Sudbury, said bylaw officers attended Memorial Park last week to help dismantle the tents and temporary structures that had been established.

“On June 30, security enforcement officers and parks services staff were on site at Memorial Park to help with packing and moving personal items,” she explained. “Transit tickets were also offered to those in need of transportation. People also had the option to have us store their personal items and pick them up July 2 at the CP Rail parking lot (on Elgin Street).”
