Hickory Man Charged With Weapon, Drug Counts By Maiden PD

23-year-old Shane Tyrell Stenson of 26th Street SW in Hickory was arrested by Maiden Police Officers. He’s charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of marijuana. Stenson was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (April 16) under no bond. A District Court appearance is scheduled for next Monday (April 19).

Morganton Man Arrested in Hickory for Assault & Probation Violations

23-year-old Shane Tyrell Stenson of Jim McCall Road in Morganton was arrested by Hickory Police at one o’clock Monday afternoon (February 1) on one felony count each of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon. The warrants for his arrest were issued on January 21. Stenson was also charged with two felony out-of-county probation violations.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident at the Hickory Police Department. He was placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility under a $80,000 secured bond. A first appearance in District Court was scheduled yesterday (February 2) in Newton with Stenson’s next District Court date coming up on February 23. A Superior Court appearance on the probation violations was set for February 22
