The Hickory Police Department said Khalil Lawerence and Khyren Lawerence were arrested in connection with a shooting that left a police officer hurt on May 26.
Khalil Rashawn Lawerence, of Jacksonville Florida, is charged with attempted murder and two counts of assault with a firearm on a law enforcement officer, Hickory police said.
