LAHORE: The last phase of hiring of consultant for preparation of the Lahore Master Plan 2050 has been completed as a sub-committee has finished the review of technical proposals submitted by three shortlisted companies before submitting its report to the consultant selection committee.
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Ahmed Aziz Tarar chaired a meeting of the consultant selection committee on Monday.
The meeting was informed three consortia, including Darul Hindsa (Lebanon), Mine Heart (Singapore) and Nespak (Pakistan), had been shortlisted out of the seven companies, which had expressed their interest in preparation of the master plan.
The meeting was informed significant progress had been made in preparation of the Lahore Master Plan 2050 and in the last phase of the process for hiring of consultant, the review of technical proposals submitted by the three shortlisted companies had been completed.

In a meeting of the Consultant Selection Committee chaired by Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director-General, Ahmed Aziz Tarar, the last phase of hiring consultants for the new Master Plan for Lahore was completed. A sub-committee, tasked with overseeing proposals presented by the three shortlisted companies, submitted its report to the selection committee for a final recommendation.
Dar-ul Hindsa (Lebanon), Mine Heart (Singapore), and NESPAK (Pakistan) were the final three companies shortlisted from a pool of seven.
