The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted searches at 10 locations in the national capital in connection with the Elathur train arson attack case that took place on April 2 this year.
Move comes after NIA begun investigating inter-state links as well as role of handlers in the train arson attack which killed 3 passengers including a child.
NIA invoked the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in its investigation because it had doubts that the accused was sent to the state by his handlers and received adequate local assistance.
