KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Provincial Council members of southeastern Khost province on Sunday accused the police chief for Shahr-i-Safa district of Zabul province of killing a trader.
The public representative said that an autos trader named Mir Wali, a resident of Khost province, was first abducted and then killed on the order of police chief of Shar-i-Safa district Abdul Basir.
They said that Mir Wali had previously talked with a reporter and complained about bad behavior of police in a short video interview.
Noor Shah Noorani, a Provincial Council member of Khost, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Mir Wali disappeared in Shahr-i-Safa district on May 3 but was found hanged to death from a tree on Saturday.
